The 7th and Final Annual Basran Charity Open, held this past August, raised $28,332 for the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation and Canadian Mental Health Kelowna.
One of the largest annual golf tournaments in the valley for the last seven years, over 1,400 golfers have participated and $100,000 has been raised for healthcare in our community since the beginning of the Basran Charity Open. 2016 marked the second year of Primaris’ Charity Golf Tournament and partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association. The tournament, which has now raised a grand total of $147,200, supports local mental health programs and supports, equipping people with the necessary tools to prevent and recover from mental illness.
