Short term financial assistance can be provided for up to 3 months. Rent Supplements are funded by BC Housing and are provided as a timely option for individuals and families who are at risk of homelessness and do not have sufficient funds to maintain their housing. Rent Supplements are intended to provide a top up to rent or provide “bridge” funds that will help keep an individual housed. Applicants are required to provide proof of income and be willing to work with a Navigator on a post-supplement plan for housing stability.

The utility relief program is a one-time subsidy available during the colder winter months, November 1st to February 28/29th. This program is meant to assist applicants in keeping their necessary utilities powered, or regaining the use of necessary utilities after disconnection (water, gas, electricity).
