Social Committee of Fortis Donates $3,500

A big, belated Thank You! to the Thompson Okanagan Social Committee of Fortis for donating $3,500 from their 2016 staff Christmas party to support local mental health initiatives through CMHA Kelowna! Their donation helps our community and loved ones with mental health struggles to receive the help and connections they need to live their best lives.

Interior Savings Supports Kelowna’s State of the Art Integrated Youth Clinic

The Interior Savings Community Investment Fund has contributed nearly $18,000 to purchase essential audio-visual equipment and furniture for Foundry Kelowna, an integrated youth clinic set to open in spring 2017. This investment will be used to create a multi-purpose space where youth and families can participate in group therapy sessions, educational groups, and peer support programs such as Take a Break.
